I spent three weeks up in Philadelphia and had the pleasure of visiting Bart's Bagels while I was there, Had a delicious pastrami bagel with caramelized onion and an amazing scrambled egg that was thinly layered and created a cool texture as I ate it. Wished I would have discovered this around the first week because I would have visited several more times

I’ve always loved this Bart’s Bagels location, and Sullivan made my experience even better. He provided exceptional customer service while assisting me with my online delivery order. He was kind, patient, and very informative throughout the entire call. I especially appreciated that he took the time to offer personal recommendations, which made the ordering process easy and enjoyable. My food arrived fresh and exactly as ordered. Sullivan’s outstanding service and attention to detail truly enhanced an already great experience. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Great bagels, no question about that. But the experience at the counter completely ruined it. I watched the front end clerk repeatedly and aggressively coughing directly into the bags while stapling them shut, including mine. She did not cover her mouth once or even attempt to turn away. It was constant and impossible to ignore. That is not just off putting, it is a clear health issue. Basic hygiene should not be optional when handling food. Really disappointing because the product itself is good, but this made it hard to want to come back if this is how the staff packs up takeout.

I ran across this place today, had to circle back and try them out. I love a good bagel. I ordered an everything bagel with chicken salad, red onions, and mayo. The chicken salad was slightly chunky just like I like it not too much not too wet and not too dry. It had small pieces of celery and hearty chunks of chicken. It very flavorful more than a mouthful enough for two with some chips of course. The cashier was very friendly and very informative as I inquired about the bagel making process while I waited for my food to be prepared. It didn’t take very long, I was in and out and under 10 minutes, there is street parking and pretty good vibe. Food was amazing. I will be back.

One of (if not THE) best bagels in Philly, great chewiness with a nice external crunch. I love that they do special monthly cream cheese flavors to add some variety. My favorite classic cream cheese is their long hot cream cheese, it has a nice spice and crunch from the peppers without being overwhelming. Their classic smoked fish is perfection on an everything bagel.
